What to expect from an Mind-Body Reset™ class?

This (online) class is all about coming home to yourself — through both body and mind. In a world that constantly pulls us outward, this practice gently guides you back inward.

We’ll combine breath-work, somatic shaking, self-massage and reflective journaling. Together these tools help your nervous system unwind, release tension (physical and emotional), and activate your natural capacity to self-regulate.

What does a session look like?

During the class we're diving into little tastes of practices I dive into with clients all the time. We go through a journey of meditation, gentle self-massage and movement, a short somatic shaking practice and then a short journaling practice.

Somatic shaking is a powerful tool to discharge stress and trauma stored in the nervous system — a natural release response also observed in animals, and supported by trauma experts like Dr. Peter Levine and Bessel van der Kolk.

Shaking helps to restore our natural ability to cope and integrate life experiences and coming back to this sense of calm and safety in the body.

The full session will take about 60 minutes, with a Q&A and sharing at the end.

Curiosity instead of judgement

Sometimes the only thing we need to do in order to reconnect with ourselves, is to become curious.

What am I actually feeling? What is actually moving through my body right now?

During the full session we're looking at our own experience from this place of curiosity.

No need to fix, but just to listen and check in.
