Advice of overwhelm

Something that has been incredibly helpful for me lately in dealing with overwhelm during my work is to write out what I am about to do before actually doing it. Instead of just looking at my to-do list and diving into tasks, I take the time to write down what I will be doing, even breaking down tasks into smaller steps if necessary. When I do this, my mind feels much less cluttered, and I can stay both focused and more at ease.
