Benefits of a Mind-Body Reset™ class

During the online class we're diving into little tastes of practices I dive into with clients all the time. We go through a journey of meditation, gentle self-massage and movement, a short somatic shaking practice and then a short journaling practice.

Somatic shaking is a powerful tool to discharge stress and trauma stored in the nervous system — a natural release response also observed in animals, and supported by trauma experts like Dr. Peter Levine and Bessel van der Kolk.

Shaking helps to restore our natural ability to cope and integrate life experiences and coming back to this sense of calm and safety in the body.

Why the Mind-Body Reset™?

Because your mind affects your body — and your body deeply shapes your mind.

When your thoughts race, your body tenses.

When your body is dysregulated, it’s harder to feel calm, clear, or connected.

Our Mind-Body Reset class brings the two back into conversation, so you can release stored tension, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your internal world — with more clarity and ease.

From the inside out and the outside in.

The Mind-Body Reset acknowledges the interconnectedness of the mind and body, recognizing that mental and physical states influence each other.

This online class is designed to help you:

✅ Unwind your nervous system
✅ Activate your natural capacity to self-regulate.

✅ Release tension (physical + emotional)

✅ Reconnect with your body and mind
