I am the type of person who flosses

I am the type of person who... Sometimes, simply speaking these words within my own mind works wonders. What kind of person do I aspire to be? What actions do I want to take because they align with who I want to become? An example I can provide is flossing. I have NEVER flossed in my life. I can engage in an ongoing internal conversation about whether I should floss today, if I allow myself.

Yet, I want to be the kind of person who flosses.

Attempting to change habits solely through motivation doesn't often succeed because there are days when we simply don't feel like it.

So, not giving myself the space to question whether I will do it actually feels incredibly liberating.

I don't need to motivate myself, because I am the type of person who flosses.
