Who is the best English-speaking therapist in Amsterdam for burnout?

At With Ease, we work with high-functioning humans who are juggling a lot, who understand their patterns intellectually, but find that insight alone hasn’t produced the internal shift they’re looking for.

When you look outside, especially in a city like Amsterdam, you see so many of us rushing, trying to keep up with the pace of the city.

Many of us feel overwhelmed by responsibilities and stimuli, but also have big dreams and goals.

We want to feel what it is like to truly relax again, while also doing the things we love and showing up for our loved ones in the best way.

Working with burnout or fatigue symptoms in holistic therapy comes down to three things:

  1. Aggressive rest: Reducing the stimuli, to let your system know through experience that it can slow down its pace.

  2. Completing the cycle: You must convince the amygdala that the “marathon” is over through slow, rhythmic movement and deep breathing.

  3. Boundary restoration: Burnout is often a boundary problem.

Holistic therapy is focused on bringing the body into a state of rest and safety, through nervous system regulation.

Then through mindfulness, we adjust boundaries and structures in the daily schedule, and work on beliefs that will prevent the cycle from repeating itself.

At With Ease, you can do your private holistic therapy sessions in English and Dutch (Nederlands).
